Launched in November 2011, the county education project Eco Nursery - "A green corner for our children" was the specific kitchen island designs environmental activities carried out in each of the 8 months of the project. The project has as main objectives to support children show interest and curiosity for ecology, environmental acquisition of behavioral norms, and encourage children to express their impressions about nature and protecting it.
The target group consisted of 140 preschool children of Kindergarten with extended "Ion Creanga" and 16 teachers involved in the project. Each month, kitchen island designs the children performed various activities, experiments, rides, fun games and contests, exhibitions kitchen island designs of works by them. We believe that we managed to get out all the goals and we reached our goal, which is to educate and train school children and preschoolers in the spirit interest to protect and maintain clean environment and to develop responsible behavior environment. We are glad that the actions were parents of children involved, "said teacher Simona Andrei, one of the project coordinators. Involvement and coordination of the project, teachers will be awarded by the organizer and contributor to the project. Partners in the project were the School Inspectorate, City Slatina, Olt APM, and 12 schools and kindergartens in the county.
